WhatNay is an online marketplace which deals in customized products (Print On Demand). The objective was to create a website which provides immense user experience while keeping higher conversion rate.
My Role
I worked as a freelance UX/UI designer and front-end developer. My role in this project was to do
research, branding, lo-fi & hi-fi wireframing, planning for animations and do front-end
development using WordPress and Woocommerce.
The deliverables include: Design in Adobe XD, Design
language and style guides, Front-end development.
Research & Planning
The Discovery phase is very important for any project. I started by asking a few questions about the project like target audience, styling, competitors, inspirational websites, etc. After defining a user and problem statement, I started researching and creating mood boards for the project. The next step was to create the Design, get it approved followed by Development and Deployment of the website. Upon the handover, I provided client with a handbook which stated how tos for the website.
Wireframes
Grid layouts
This was a fun project to work on. There were almost no constraints (eg. colors, typography, etc.). The communication went very smooth, from initial discovery to branding and through the final revisions and delivery.
